Welcome to 2015 Pine Creek Eagles Marching Band
It's time for Marching Band season to begin! After a fantasic band camp, we are ready to begin the road to State finals. After our specticular 10th place finish (our highest yet!), we will work to improve on that to show how hard we have worked throughout the season. We will be marching over 100 strong and our new show is amazing! -- Origins.
The band fee this year will be $400. This fee can be easily paid on “Pay for It,” or can be a check written to PCHS Band. If possible, please use Pay for It. This fee helps up with registration fees for competitions, music purchase, transportation fees, competition food fees (all students will get fed snacks, water, and at least one meal each competition) and includes the band T‐shirt. You will not receive your uniform until the band fee is paid. This means if you don’t pay the fee, you don’t march.
We are doing something new this year regarding the band fees. The total fee is $400, but parents have the opportunity to lower that fee. If you (parents) put in 10 hours of volunteering for the band, the fee will drop to $300. So for each hour a band parent puts in, $10 will be deducted from the band fee. The lowest it can drop to is $300. For siblings in the band (color guard, percussion, winds) the fee is a combined $650 (with no volunteer hours) and $500 (with volunteer hours).
Please do not let the fee be a deciding factor in participation – we can set up payment plans if needed!!! Rookies are required to purchase marching band shoes. These shoes are specifically for marching bands, with a rolled heel and comfort fit. These are $25 and can be purchased through the school (checks again can be made out to PCHS Band). Please pay this in a separate check.
